Motown Writers Network Writers/Car Camping Retreat

October 11th - 13th, 2024 

Goal

To camp out in nature off-grid, surrounded by nature for writing sprints/inspiration, mini workshops, and networking with other local writers. 

Hosted by Motown Writers Network, Brick House Studio, and author, Sylvia Hubbard with guest facilitator, Kristine Brickey 

Camping location: Brick House Studio, Mason, Michigan (exact location will be included the Google Doc)

Vehicle required: A Car, Crossover, or SUV. You can also have a van, but please no class B, C, or A campers will be allowed.

Pay with the understanding:

*When you pay you understand you are responsible for bringing items for dry camping (items are on Google Document ) and a writer’s retreat. The low cost is because you will be responsible for yourself. We’ll be providing the workshops, a tour of the farm, a Saturday night dinner, the campfire, and some small water and electrical assistance. 

The form at the end of the Google Doc must also be turned in by September 15th as well. If you need to mail it to us, please contact us.
